The People’s Book Project is an independent initiative to crowd-source funding for a research and writing project, aiming to produce a series of books which take a radical look at the ideas, institutions, and individuals of power and resistance. The books aim to study power and people: what is the nature of our society, how did we get here, who brought us here, why, where are we going, when will we get there, and what can we do to change it?
Andrew Gavin Marshall is the researcher and writer of The People’s Book Project, but support comes from readers who donate to allow the time and resources to undertake this endeavour. Avoiding the strings attached by think tanks, schools, foundations, corporations or any other institutions, this Project relies upon funding from readers like you in order to study the role and influence of institutions in our society.
Andrew Gavin Marshall is a 26-year old independent researcher and writer based in Montreal, Canada. He has written for a number of publications, including AlterNet, Truthout, CounterPunch, Roarmag, and Occupy, among others, and has done a number of radio and television interviews, including with Russia Today and CBC Radio. He is Project Manager of The People’s Book Project, head of the Geopolitics Division of the Hampton Institute, research director of Occupy.com’s Global Power Project, and hosts a weekly podcast show at BoilingFrogsPost.

Great stuff. Maybe I would donate if I didn’t need the donations myself. I devoted my time to a book, and do alot of writing in my spare time, however, in the end, I used a bursary (expenses) to cover the cost of a book. Likewise, I am relying on many other to keep it going. All the best…
Thanks very much, appreciated. And solidarity!
Cheers
